About Us

Steve enlisted in the United States Navy in 1994. His first assignment was on the USS Blue Ridge in Yokosuka, Japan.  Shortly thereafter, Steve and Jennifer married in 1995 and moved forward to have two children.  While the first quarter of his military career was spent as a Boatwain’s Mate, the remaining three quarters were spent as Chaplain. Following 28 years of military service, both have decided to make Osage Beach their final stop and humble abode.    

 

Having grown up in St. Charles, Missouri, Steve and Jen have always considered the Lake of the Ozarks as home away from home.  Now, as empty nesters, both look forward to spending time in the community they love so much.  When asked the question, “Why did you choose outdoor recreation as your second career choice,” Jennifer responded, “We have always enjoyed water sports at the lake.  Swimming, tubing, camping, boating and fishing are just the best.  Moreover, having worked with Marines and Sailors the majority of our lives it only seemed logical to have a business on the water.”

Steve and Jen have now been married for 28 years; they have two children (Christine and John) and two grandchildren (Avery and Finn).  Thankful for the support received from local residents, guests, family and friends, both look forward to finding new and fresh ways of giving back to the community.  Please know that all first responders including medical, police, fire, active duty and veterans will receive a 10% discount.  If you see this couple out and about, be sure to say hello.
